Originally starring Carol Burnett, this hilarious spoof of 1930’s Hollywood is the story of “Hope Springfield,” an want-to-be actress who is accidentally given the lead in a brand new 'talkie.' After the final film is shelved, the producer's nephew arranges a sneak viewing that results in the movie becoming a huge success and a new star being “born!”
